Tmunity is seeking a strong, highly-skilled individual, to help build out the company’s integrated strategic and operational plans in relation to its lead clinical and scientific platforms/programs. This person will support program leaders and other functional leaders in the building of project and portfolio plans, and presentations. This will be a critical role within the company to enable the company to keep track of key milestones and dependencies to foster the pace at which we will grow to ultimately make a difference in patient lives.  Reporting initially into the VP of Program and Portfolio Management, the incumbent will be an integral member of the company and establishing a framework for success. It is essential that the incumbent is a strong team member with the ability to create platforms that capture strategy and operational dependencies.



  • The incumbent, working with program leaders and key members of the organization, will start to lay out the blueprints and detailed company plans as it relates to prioritized R &D programs and platforms.


  • A large focus initially will be towards the internal pipeline Tmunity has secured via its Licensing agreements with the University of Pennsylvania but will also involve integrating external platforms (especially in the manufacturing science arena, with the Chief Technical officer and his/her team) into integrated program plans


  • Working with Program Leaders, ensure state of the art, competitive and differentiated plans are executed with a disciplined project management framework


  • The Successful candidate(s) will be tasked with helping the department to set up and support a highly functioning project management tracking and performance metric system


  • Setting agendas, with functional leads and program leaders, and issuing minutes from key meetings

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of life-sciences experience and the following:


  • Graduate qualification e.g. BA, BSc

  • Proficient in MS project, excel, and PowerPoint.Portfolio management software experience a plus

  • Individual with strong bench strength in science, R &D, and business

  • Strong Program management experiences in research and/translational settin

  • Intimate familiarity of drug and therapeutic development leading to BLA/NDA submissions

  • Track record as a proven team member, with history of having developed solid project and portfolio management plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Higher Project Management qualifications (PMI certification) or MBA

  • Experience in Program management within Cell and Gene highly desirable 

  • Familiarity with Global Regulatory Integrated Program deliverable 

  • Excellent project management and IT systems experience 

  • Understanding of development through commercialization planning and lifecycle management as well as proven track record of working with team members in developing functional plans and presentations



  • Philadelphia Market Street campus based

  • May require up to 15% travel to East Norriton, PA to Tmunity Manufacturing facility
