Job Detail

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing human resources programs and initiatives in support of the overall business plan and strategic directions for Tmunity Therapeutics.


Initially reporting to the CEO, the Director will work closely with the executive team as well as staff throughout the organization. While the majority of the HR Director’s work will be focused on Tmunity U.S. operations in Philadelphia and its Manufacturing Science Facility in East Norriton, the Director will also support and help drive HR and organizational initiatives across the entire organization and be a visible ambassador to the company. 




  • Strengthening and growing current HR infrastructure

  • Leading all aspects of a full HR function (talent and performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, etc.)

  • Providing leadership to develop and promote an organizational culture that supports sustained performance and motivates and retains staff

  • Provide framework for strategic workforce planning

  • Working closely with the management, and where necessary external partners, developing a companywide staffing and selection process and driving efforts to insure the staff expansion meets critical milestones and that top caliber staff are brought on board

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years of progressive experience in human resources in complex organizations, including 5 or more years in leadership roles managing others

  • Knowledge and experience in a broad spectrum of human resources functions

  • Good understanding of Compensation and Benefits frameworks methods a

  • Proven ability to develop HR programs and policies based on business and legal requirements

  • In-depth understanding of the legal requirements affecting the HR function

  • Strong project management, time management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive excellence

  • Demonstrated track record of having led and or contributed to company cultural initiatives

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and management, including executive leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, business or related field   Proficiency in MS Office and with human resources data base (HRIS) software


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in life sciences sector is strongly preferred

  • Experiences in Cell and Gene Therapy companies highly preferred



  • Fulltime, based in Philadelphia PA

  • Will require travel to East Norriton, PA to Tmunity Manufacturing facility

  • Will require limited travel out of state as part of duties with partners
